Welcome to the Fall 2020 edition of the Mills Policy Forum. It has been an eventful year, and we appreciate our readers more than ever.
This semester we are proud to publish four articles. Caitlin Cullman explains how the Midwest’s bipartisan environmental programs could be reestablished in our current political climate. She is a fourth-year student in the PEPL major, focusing on public policy. Lena Liu shares an update from her 2019 thesis on the role of cities in addressing climate change. She graduated from Mills College with a degree in Environmental Studies in 2020. Caroline Love wrote about how the U.S. Census does not represent Middle Eastern and North African Americans. She is a third-year student majoring in Economics. And finally, Ravahn Samati contributed an op-ed about idealism, government, and economic analysis. He is a first-year graduate student in the Master of Public Policy program at Mills College.
The Mills Policy Form welcomes submissions of policy research and opinion articles; we invite our readers to contact us to propose articles for our next issue.
